Use case
Your own VPN server
A VPN on your own server gives you a dedicated IP that nobody else shares, with traffic that is never metered. Private VPNs for your own devices are welcome.
Recommended
- Location
- Istanbul for a Turkish IP and the lowest latency to Iran and the Gulf; Frankfurt for an EU IP
- Plan
- The smallest plan handles a few users; take 2 GB RAM for a family or team
- System

WireGuard in one script
On a fresh Ubuntu server, the widely used wireguard-install script asks a few questions and creates the first client config.
curl -O https://raw.githubusercontent.com/angristan/wireguard-install/master/wireguard-install.sh
chmod +x wireguard-install.sh
sudo ./wireguard-install.shPick a location
Both locations have unmetered traffic.
